Doing Good to All Men
During His ministry, Jesus went about doing good (Acts 10:38). To the churches of Galatia (Galatians 1:2) Paul wrote: "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith" (Galatians 6:9,10). The church at Corinth brought glory to God through their liberal sharing with the saints and with all men (2 Corinthians 9:12,13).
Individual Christians and churches of Christ bring glory to God in the world today by following the example of Christ as they obey these commands.
